Update week beginning June 14, 2010

Had a great fish day with Ron again on Sunday, June 13th. Weather has been colder, windy, over cast and rainy at times. It warmed up some on Sunday but real over cast and cloudy. We caught 3 Lakers within 2 hours in the 8 - 15 lbs range. Headed over to Swim beach area and ended up with 7 fish hooked and landing 6. The largest was 20 lbs.

Ron left Tuesday morning to head back to California. I am looking forward to seeing him again in September.

We also had several guests attending last weekend for the tournament up in Buckboard Marina area. One of our guests won the bass class and also ended up winning some money.

Weekend of June 4th, 2010

Had a full house this weekend. Lot's of fisherman in for prefishing for the tournament coming the weekend of June 11th.

Went fishing with Ron Ricioli out of San Luis Obisbo, California. We landed several lake trout on different days. He is quite the outdoorsman and a great fisherman. I have learned to fish with down riggers and trolling. So far I have landed a 27, 22 and several in the 5 - 15 lb range.

Looking forward to some better weather. The days have been sunny and hot on the lake and make for rough fishing. Seems like the worse the weather is the better the lake trout fishing.
